Here's a comparison of the 2 most popularly done eyelash extension.
Thanks to the customer for allowing me to take the pics.

The natural volume gives the eyes a slight highlight while the
mascara volume is more obvious and gives a thicker eyeliner effect.
Both sets are done in Medium length lashes.

And here are my own current set of lashes, Mascara volume
done with a mixture of Medium and short length lashes.

Points to Consider

With CNY just a couple of days away, a lot of ladies are doing the eyelash extension for the first time. Here are some tips on what to consider when deciding on your extension.

1) Are you wearing spectacles?
This is important as if you choose to use the medium or longest length for your extension, you
would have to push our the specs when wearing to avoid the lashes brushing against the specs.
2) Are you doing only for an occasion or normal everyday extension?
Eyelash extension is a lash enhancement that cannot be removed without professional help.
Therefore, do take note that the extension will be on your eyes 24hr. Decide wisely on the
volume to be done. If you are one who is not used to wearing full makeup, for example, eyeliner
and fake lashes, I would advise going for a natural or mascara volume extension to get used to.
3) Are you addicted to Mascara??
With eyelash extension on, it is recommended NOT to apply mascara, eyeliner or use curler as
the extension will not be able to last as long during eye makeup remover. Actually, the
extension itself already forms an eyeliner effect and the lashes are 24hrs curled. Eye shadow
can still be applied.

Thought of sharing with everyone about the process of my eyelash extensions and how long it can last for me and also for you.

This set of extensions was done on 10th Nov, and the pictures below are shot on Friday, 21st Nov, almost 2 weeks.

Before Touchup:Eyes close, you can see that most of the lashes are still in perfect form.
Only a few loose strands have fallen (caused by riding motorbike without helmet in Msia)

The look of the extensions from the front is good as new.

After Touchup:

Just wanted to look 100% perfect for the hair salon's opening,
(Actually didn't really need a touchup :p )

The touchup gave me thicker lashes.
(cork eye from staring straight at the camera)

I got my lashes done again! Sorry for the small blur picture as I took it on impulse with my phone camera.
Got this set of Mascara Lashes done last Monday, 10th Nov, and this time, this set is different.
Instead of purely single strand lashes, this set is a mixture of clusters and single strands. It has the added volume and still does not look too over the top. :)

From September onwards, we have brought in a new batch of cluster eyelashes. This batch of clusters eyelashes are really soft and fine that it can produce a very natural effect and does not put so much weight on your eyelids.

In this entry, the eyelash extensions are done using a mix of medium and short lengths, in a natural thickness volume. As compared to the short extensions, the medium has a more obvious curl. Below are some of the works that we have done.
